Tala Faral

Tala Faral is amongst the few jazz artists who have developed mass audiences while pursuing their own artistic visions. Son of the late Jean Style who was himself a composer, actor, pianist and choir director; Tala himself played a variety of instruments including the cello, the trumpet. But in the nineties he has been focusing on modern jazz using keyboards and saxophone. Influenced by Jazz Legends including John Coltrane, Herbie Hancock, Cecil Taylor, Miles Davis, Kenny Garret, Dave Liebman and Joe Lovano; Tala went on to develop his own unique style. His band Groove Suppa (Lindsay on drums, Benoi Rai on Electric Guitar and Dwight Patterson/Bass) have created funk and rock jazz music of their own and their album
